The Green Postal Forum, organised by PostEurop, brought together key stakeholders from the postal and logistics sector to discuss sustainable transformation and innovation. During the event, ADMIRAL partner Pošta Slovenije took the stage to present the Slovenian-Croatian pilot and how it contributes to the ADMIRAL multimodal digital marketplace, enabling stakeholders to access, test, and deploy tools that enhance efficiency and sustainability across logistics operations.
Spotlight on the Slovenian–Croatian pilot
Alen Kahvedžić from Pošta Slovenije showcased the Slovenian–Croatian pilot, which demonstrates how ADMIRAL solutions can improve cross-border postal operations. The pilot aims to make postal logistics processes greener and more efficient by enhancing traffic efficiency and load factor, and applying GHG analysis.
Solutions developed include a logistics optimization tool for first, middle and last mile, a GLEC-aligned CO₂ emissions calculator, a crowd-shipping platform, and optimized routing through AI.
This real-life implementation illustrates the project’s broader ambition: to enable scalable, interoperable solutions that can be replicated across Europe.
